Dear Parents

As you know Beth Spear our Chair and Beth Webb our Vice-Chair both stepped down from the committee last month due to their increased work commitments.  They both have been valued members of the PTA and will be sadly missed.  This leaves the PTA committee with only a few members. 

 

We would love to continue to raise funds for the school, but really need more help.  Ideally we would like new committee members, however if this is not possible, we will need more help and others to take on organizational roles in order to run a summer fayre.

Do you think you could help?

Whatever you think you could offer please come along to the PTA meeting.

Dear Staff and Parents
It is with regret that I must resign from my post as Chairperson of the PTA due to additional work commitments. I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support during my time on the committee. I have enjoyed being involved with the PTA since my eldest daughter joined the school 4 years ago; there's has been lots of fun and friendships forged (and the odd mishap along the way!)
I am proud to have been able to support in fundraising efforts which benefit our children and am committed to continuing to support in anyway I can.  
I am happy to discuss the role with anyone who would be interested in taking over the role, and can be contacted via the school.

It's nearly half term!

To celebrate there will be a Cake Stall on the yard  
Wednesday 10th February after school.
Donations from classes; meithrin afternoon, 2E, 2C, 5C gratefully received.
Volunteers to help set up the stall and sell cakes would also be appreciated

Thank you to everyone who came to the school fayre.  Despite the weather we had a great day.  A huge thanks to the choir, band, and musicians who provided entertainment, and thank you to all who helped and donated.  We raised £1772!
The raffle prize winners are; Avril Williams, Sian Richardson, Maureen Fowler, Michelle Copps, Ceri Bowden, Claire Maddern, Rhys Jenkins, Moira James, Steffan, Sara Wade, Seiman Edwards, David Williams, Jen Evans.  Please collect your prizes from school before friday, thanks.
To celebrate the end of term there will be a cake stall on the yard on Friday, don't forget your 25ps!

Christmas Raffle Tickets are out, make sure you get yours as there are some great prizes.  A huge thanks to those who donated them.
